Kaki Barron

Kaki is the owner of Head of the Class Academic Center and has had a passion for teaching and tutoring since before graduating from high school. She received her Bachelor’s in mathematics from the University of Oklahoma and her Master’s in Mathematics Education from Arizona State University. As a published researcher and former instructor of record, she has gained many worthwhile skills and teaching philosophies that meet students where they are and help them excel. With over ten years of official teaching and tutoring experience, her passion for helping students achieve their dreams remains her lifelong mission.

Brian Barron

Brian holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas, where he developed a strong foundation in problem-solving, analytical thinking, and real-world applications of math and science. He is passionate about helping students break down challenging concepts into simpler, more manageable ideas. Brian believes that every student can succeed with the right approach, and he enjoys finding creative ways to explain material so it truly “clicks.” Known for his patient and encouraging style, Brian focuses on building confidence as much as content knowledge. He loves connecting with students and helping them discover that subjects like math and science don’t have to be overwhelming; they can actually make sense (and even be enjoyable!).

Stephanie Wilken

Stephanie is a graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington with a degree in interdisciplinary studies and an ESL certification. Stephanie is the Office Administrator and an instructor at Head of the Class Academic Center and has been with the center for six years! She is usually the friendly voice you will hear over the phone to help you with making a plan for your student! With a passion for education, Stephanie fosters inclusive learning environments and employs innovative teaching methods. Beyond her administrative role, she enjoys reading, hiking, and horses.
